I know a guy who sleeps two hours at work a day and gets paid 45 a year. I work two jobs and just rode a bicycle, that I bought at Goodwill for 30$, home 5.5 miles at midnight. I am doing shit wrong, lol.Okeefenokee wrote:No!jediuser598 wrote:Man, I've been doing it wrong all my life, public sector is where it's at. I was sitting there filling out some paper work and I look up and see 5 employees trying to unload 6 pallets. (You know, take the plastic off, carry the boxes to area correct area, etc etc).Okeefenokee wrote:well, you're new to the public sector. you get a pass.jediuser598 wrote:That's not a military saying, that's a saying in literally every job every where.Okeefenokee wrote:

About after two minutes of watching them completely fail at trying to operate a pallet jack, I say "Here, let me handle his, I have some experience in this." Get them organized, knock out those 6 pallets into the store room, deconstructed and placed under 20 minutes. 6 people working it? Too many people. Spent most of the time in traffic jams. I could have done it by myself in less than an hour no problem, boss looks at me and goes "you got the job."
Had to laugh a bit on the inside.
I've no idea how long it would have taken them if I hadn't taken over.

Don't use any form of the word deconstruct. One breaks down pallets or skids, okay?jediuser598 wrote:I was sitting there filling out some paper work and I look up and see 5 employees trying to unload 6 pallets. (You know, take the plastic off, carry the boxes to area correct area, etc etc).
