Well when the future gets here and a better system is finally proven to be superior, you can cross that bridge gladly. Until then throwing out what works the best currently because it doesn't work perfectly, that's probably unwise. Experiment on a smaller scale and work your way up from there with the experimental shit, that would be my advice.

I don't believe anyone has done that in this thread... :roll:

So then this was just a random cry to the universe to 'stop shitting on it as one of the worst', and had nothing to do with us rejecting your wholesale blame of Communism for the problems in Venezuela. Also, it most definitely was not rolling over to play victim after losing your narrative. Gotcha. 8-)

I never blamed Communism for all of Venezuela's problems. Communism clearly holds Venezuela back significantly though, as Communism has held back every country who has ever gone down that road. There is no getting around that, blaming the whole situation on the oil price is just silly too because centrally planned economies it turns out have a tendency to put too many eggs in a single basket, just as Venezuela also unsurprisingly did. Centrally planned economies have trouble handling fluctuations in commodities markets, breaking news.

Communism boned Venezuela big time, it might not be the only reason they are boned, but it's a pretty big reason dude.

Venezuela is in such poor shape because of white privilege.

On March 29, 2017, El Salvador became the first country in the world to categorically prohibit metal mining. This move is historic and auspicious. Champions of environmental justice and community self-determination are celebrating El Salvador’s radical decision, the product of eleven years of stops and starts and deal-making in the Legislative Assembly. While other countries have taken steps in this direction, until now, no country has built an unconditional ban of metal mining directly into its legislative framework.

They still have peasants,
As March came to an end between 60 to 100 Venezuelan soldiers invaded Colombia. They set up a military camp, raised a Venezuelan flag, claimed the territory as their own and expelled Colombian peasants from the area.

Actually, the resource curse might be the better culprit this time. It's what happens when a country gets very wealthy, very easily from one resource. See Spain's gold, and silver binge, after its conquests in the New World, or the other oil rich countries that have relied mainly on their oil. Spain lost some of its industries, and failed to develop like the rest of Europe because it relied on just its gold. It also fuels corruption. The same could be said of Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, or Russia. Any country has a really hard time not being "boned" by such "luck."
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
