To the highest bidder, as someone said.
After all, it's a clever new market to sell and buy information about consumers, right?
Will create jobs for uh.. bots and Computer programs!
It's not a new market by any means. You're completely engulfed in the United States media propaganda if you think anything significant is changing.
Data mining and selling info about web users is an old thing.
But now you don't have some hypocrite legislation that would assume to limit it.
The old legislation is big government overreach, as some Republican said.

You silly bastards. You've been completely distracted by the machine at work.
This is not just a bill to allow the government to track you. It allows ANYONE to buy your private life. You'll soon be seeing it used in employment reviews, divorce proceedings, blackmail, all kinds of fun stuff.
Hey this will be cool - what if your insurance (once Obamacare is repealed) gets jacked through the roof based on you searching disease symptoms? I bet it will be amazing to watch all of the new industries pop up, offering your complete history to a fiancé or wife.
Won't freedom be great?

We're headed back into the dark dark hellscape of 61 days ago! Rest in peace Earth

Yeah, remember that time, roughly 61 days ago when everybody could purchase anyone else's internet history and private life? It's gonna be just like that.

There actually was a point to the distinction I made though. A lot of people talk about running away from the Orwellian state whenever it becomes apparent we are being fucked. There really isn't anywhere for us to run to though.
Anyway, hopefully this bill fails.
Point of order I was agreeing with you rather than counter signalling.
There's no running away from these measures, we have to fight them. Avoiding the over reaction to terrorism is a good place to start. Protesting loudly to commercial organisations profiting from the abuse of these powers is another.
Unity is our strength division is our weakness. Fight the power bro.....
That's a winning message.

No wonder you're fucking useless.

And just more proof you a hack bitch. Obamacare already allows this or is opening the door to do so.

Seen better counterarguments from you from time to time.
Those ones that are, like, about the topic in hand, for starters...

I was specifically talking about a certain pederast predilection to the practitioners of the religion of peace. Kind of like you will find a way to make this some nefarious Russian plot.
