And yeah, remember how the "debate rules committee" suddenly decided to raise the bar out of reach for independents?
Ron Paul participated in every primary debate.
We are talking about parties rigging their own primaries and because you are getting your ass kivked and look loke the partisan hack bitch you are, you rent a uhaul and move the goalpost to the General election. Try again undercover hack bitch.

Even if there were no evidence-based comparisons, the regs in the Republican and Democratic parties are similar. The point is that neither of them have to follow their constituents, not that only the Democrats haven't.clubgop wrote:Yeah but they were open about it and they didnt hold RNC leadership positions. They tried their little coup at the convention and it failed. There was no putting on debates on Sunday night vs a playoff game so no one would watch it. No one passed Jeb Bush any debate questions. You've got no comparisons. So nice try being a good little democrat but you and GCF own this one.Martin Hash wrote:The Republican Party is the same way. No wonder Ron Paul didnt win shit, his supporters made bitch excuses like democrats everytime they lose so goddamned always.pineapplemike wrote:Yeah you're right it's probably only one of the two parties that actively engage in electioneering. Even if half of this shit is true it's too much, I distinctly remember the Iowa secret vote count and Maine fiasco from my 2012 internet junkie days.
Like I said, good times

Well they do have to follow the constituents, those are the delegates to the national convention. GOP does not have Superdelegates, they have unbound delegates and the distinctuon is huge. So frankly "only the democrats haven't" is the issue.katarn wrote:Even if there were no evidence-based comparisons, the regs in the Republican and Democratic parties are similar. Is that a rhetorical question as you attempt to deflect from the DNC? Cause my ears are fine if your ears are burning first I recommended, as one health care professional to another, taking off that fucking stupid hat.Martin Hash wrote:Dude, don't your ears burn when you defend the indefensible?

Yeah, he Bush's were the first ones to hire the Brit Spy to fabricate dirt on Trump and Russia, then Hillary hired the same guy.
The difference in our previous election is, there is a clearly a difference on how the two parties handled their outsider candidates. First of all the GOP took on all comers who threw their hat in the ring. 17 candidates vs 4 for the Dems.

I'm afraid I don't see a great distinction. Could you elaborate?clubgop wrote:Well they do have to follow the constituents, those are the delegates to the national convention. It would be. But it would be a distant thing. And Trump would have a splendid time in the media.pineapplemike wrote:I do bet the 'what-if-Trump-had-won' thread would have been pretty optimistic though..
I think now people would have impeachment-fever here. Just any moment now... Because Hillary wouldn't have a nice time with a GOP controlled Congress.
And boy, would the Gopsters be extremely nasty. The mood would be worse. Now at least, Trump is funny.
