Austin is where Texans who hate Texas live. Buncha loose trim on sixth street, but you don't wanna pollute your seed with that trash. Wear a jimmie hat.

Ain't gonna be no revolt, didn't you see the speech tonight? Trump is on fire, and he's just warming up, POTUS needs to issue the MAGA toques, cause I don't wear no ball caps. I'll take one in tactical charcoal on black, make it happen.

Mark Levin was pissed at Trump. You're talking about the Carrier speech right?

The speech in Ohio, that was great, that was some MAGA shit right there, he's coming out of campaign mode and getting serious now, move over Ronald Reagan, there's a new MAGA in town, he got Carrier to stay for a $7 million dollar concession? Colour me impressed, that doesn't even meet the threshold of walking around money for the Big Gov, can't do that every time, none the less, a win's a win. Plus Mattis.

1100 families in Indiana just got their jobs back, not a big number, but it's real people, and Trump went out and made it happen, that's not red meat, that's a win, yeah, the Big Gov is basically picking up $530/month of their salaries for the next ten years, but that's a hell of a lot cheaper than them going on the dole, so win-win for the taxpayer in the end, and $530/month is chump change, one F-35 burns $530 in forty seconds.
Mattis ain't red meat neither, SECDEF is second in command in a crisis, whether or not Mattis could work miracles in the halls of the Pentagon is not the point, he's a straight shooter who you want in your corner in a jam.

Maybe. There are a lot of republicans here in California that would have preferred Trump but didn't vote for him because it wouldn't matter. Then again I'm sure that you have a lot of the same with lefts not bothering to vote in overwhelming red states like Texas.

I actually think Trump is correct in his assumption that if there was no Electoral College that he would have campaigned differently and still won.Cascul wrote:TheReal_ND wrote:It sure as fuck would have gave us Clinton. Trump is the most southern president since Davis vote wise.

If you're going pure popular vote, having 51% of the vote come from densely populated urban bubbles isn't the Will of the People, and will increase the hostility already felt toward the urban voters by the rural voters. From what I can tell, Urbanites have a "I know better than you," attitude, while the hayseeds take a "Leave me and mine alone," approach.AndrewBennett wrote:Why not?
