Every single politician that supports it is going to be forced to discuss this event.
You don’t need a NHS model. Just implement single payer and freedom to chose caregiver, like Sweden. Remember to get the deductible levels right.

What I want or need is largely irrelevent.
Our system has been purposefully broken.

But, as is shown here, many folks in america desire a more active role for government in health care. They will be forced to recon with what britian has done, even though as far as I can tell, no americans support what britian has done. Our political system is such that they will be manueverd into addressing it... which will taint whatever the proposal is.

I think you have struck upon the reason so many right wing media outlets are focusing on this case. If they can sell the nanny state murder rhetoric well enough it will cloud all future discussion of socialised medicine.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Look, Monte, it is simple.

If a child dies because its parents can't afford care, that child dies free. Which is good.

If a child dies in a country with socialized medicine, that child is a slave that has been murdered by Fascists. Which is bad.

Why is this so hard for you to understand?
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

Now here we go.

Do you actually check the box, or are you just aiding Monte because this has been such a one sided shit show?

Well if you put it like that it's irrefutable.

I don't really understand the Italy deal, to be honest.

Were they saying, "Yeah guys, we can't cure this kid, but we could keep it technically alive indefinitely" as an offer to actually do that, or just a statement of fact?

Either way, why bother trapping that poor kids soul in a body crippled with a mind that doesn't work instead of releasing it on to the care of Jesus?
