Go to the 35:00 mark. We are going to run out of medications in a few months if China does not come back online. This is why globalism was so fucking dumb. This is why I argued for years we need to stop exporting our manufacturing and tech sectors.

Yes. The world is a lot less resilient now that everything is controlled by globalist bean counters. There are almost no redundancies left. Everything is made by the few lowest bidders. Often in China. "We give you best price"

How long does it take to build a drug factory?
It can't be done like that. There are a million different things that go in there to make something like cholesterol medication and all of those things are produced in China.
Bingo. It's not just the factory to mix batches of stuff together and press them into pills, it's the entire supply chain before that as well. Need sodium dihexanolic tartrate? Comes from China. Lithium? Comes from china? Reagent grade sulphuric acid? Probably from China, at least in quantity for any of them... You'd have to rebuild whole industries in the US again... Like an entire chemical industry from the ground up.

The US steel industry isn't a shadow of what it used to be because we stopped making steel framed buildings, using metal tools, and stopped making cars. Just take a walk into Lowe's/HD/etc and try to find any tools made in the US anymore. I tried a few years ago... The only thing I found was a pry bar. There was a bunch of stuff like the Stanley tape measure "assembled in USA" or things "distributed by XYZ industries, USA", but pretty much everything was made in Asia - except some circular saw blades made in France.

We can't even mass produce a screwdriver in this country anymore, but you want an entire drug/chemical industry?

In fact I'm willing to bet even grocery canned goods could become an issue in the near term. I'd bet the supply of tin coated sheet steel (or extrusion aluminum for some cans) comes primarily from China. We may make/form the cans here domestically, but the raw inputs could be a problem.

I LOL that Monte thinks the numbers coming out of China have any basis in reality.

According to Rosemary Gibson the US can't even make ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) anymore.

OK, so we don't trust the figures coming out of China. How about the figures from the rest of the world?
The UK so far has 13 confirmed cases and 0 deaths. You want me to panic over that?
Outside of China there are around 2000 cases and about 40 deaths.
Get a fucking grip.
The economic damage is going to be far more relevant than a few old people dying.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Italy has detected 374 total cases, and already has 12 fatalities. Do you trust the lying CCP but not the Italian government?

Furthermore, almost nobody is being tested anywhere. My lying government goes out there to say they are not detecting any community spread so don't worry. But if you dig deeper you will discover the truth is that they are not testing anybody. They only tested about 400 travelers. They are not even testing for community spread.

Even if you want to believe the CCP is not lying to you (laughable, btw), you have to realize they are completely swamped. They have few test kits to use, and most of the population in the affected areas are literally barricaded in their homes right now. There is no telling how many bodies are behind those doors. Nor will the CCP ever admit to it. They moved in mobile incinerators to Wuhan. When the time comes, they will just go house-to-house, collect bodies, and incinerate them on the street.

As of today, the only governments that apparently have told the truth about any of this were Singapore and maybe Taiwan. The other governments have been caught lying, changing their narrative, and obfuscating the truth in various ways. I don't trust any of them, and I am not counting on Singapore and Taiwan to remain unblemished either.

The latest numbers being pushed by MSM outlets are around 80,000 infected and 2,7000 deaths. That is now 3%, up from China's math from a couple weeks ago of 2%.

China's numbers are likely plateauing because they no longer have the kits to test for it, and they are so overwhelmed they can't count properly, not that they were before. How many died literally locked inside their homes? Italy will give us a better idea of how this virus spreads and affects people.

San Francisco, feces capital of the US, declared a state of emergency over this yesterday. Countless tents of homeless and literal shit on their streets is no big deal, but this is already causing them to panic without a single confirmed case in their city.

I don't want to be paranoid, but I think today I go out and stock up on a few things. We have a well, so I'm not worried about water. Canned goods, TP, vitamins. I'm thinking things that have a long shelf life and can still be used if nothing happens, like cereal would be good to keep a few boxes on hand for us just in case we end up locked down in our home for a few weeks. Anything else like bleach, sanitary wipes?

This dude is singlehandedly doing a better job than all the world's media companies together. We are in a new time period. MSM is a dead man walking.

The UK has tested over 1200 people and found only 13 confirmed cases. No one has died yet.
Meanwhile, 6,000 - 10,000 people die every year from the flu. 13,000 died in 2013.
No matter how much you will it, this is not Spanish flu or the Plague.

So you know more about this than any of the health agencies around the world that are now at least gently suggesting that we prepare for this disrupting our lives much more than the flu has.

By the official numbers this is 10 times more deadly than the flu if you get it. There is no COVID-19 vaccination. More new cases are now being reported outside of China than from China.

I'm not believing what any government or WHO is telling e as the whole truth. You just had an Iranian health official sweating profusely while telling us everything was fine, only to find out he has it. I'm not only paying attention to what we are being told, but watching what is being done. When governments are shutting down travel, declaring states of emergencies, and quarantining places, I'm taking that to mean this is more serious than the flu.

I'm not planning for the zombie apocalypse, but I am going to plan for a significant disruption in our daily lives.

I've come to the same conclusion. Though I'm reserving judgement until I see this thing level off.
I don't believe the numbers out of China for a fucking second. The transmission rate seems to be off the charts, and it's possible this could swamp the global medical system, including 1st world nations.

The economic impact is going to be devastating. Globalism relies on open borders, open ports, and cheap 3rd world labor. This will re-adjust that model.
