Re: Trump's Economic Plan
Trump has called the bluff of a lot of GOP grandstanders with this budget, and now they have to put up or shut up.
For some this is a real Oh, Shit moment

Everyone around here know I'm a Rural guy with Classic Liberal Philosophy. Well, this budget is going to reveal a lot about people who talk a good game about government handouts and those who really embrace Liberty. The Big Gov/Prog/Liberals are going to freak out. But the real test is the other side. Rural areas are going to get hit hard, and I say, fine, bring it on. It will clean out the Rural areas that are being infected with Big Government Washington pandering for bucks and make the Rural folks more resilent and frankly bring more Liberty and Self-Reliance.

“While we have a responsibility to reduce our federal deficit, I am disappointed that many of the reductions and eliminations proposed in the President’s skinny budget are draconian, careless and counterproductive,” said Rogers, one of the so-called “cardinals,” the nickname for the lawmakers controlling how federal money is spent.
Rogers said he was concerned about cuts to programs in Kentucky.
“In particular, the Appalachian Regional Commission has a long-standing history of bipartisan support in Congress because of its proven ability to help reduce poverty rates and extend basic necessities to communities across the Appalachian region,” he said. “Today, nearly everyone in the region has access to clean water and sewer, the workforce is diversifying, educational opportunities are improving, and rural technology is finally advancing to 21st Century standards.
Kentucky Republican congressman Hal Rogers, who has spent more than three decades on the House Appropriations Committee, including six years as the chairman

No bitch wrong again. Try 2010, 2014, recalls, governors, special elections. Basically whenever the 1st celebrity President wasn't on the ballot.GrumpyCatFace wrote:LOL apparently this single election counts as "always". Wow.clubgop wrote:It used to be religious programming. I don't watch those either, except for Anthony Bourdain, who's on CNN for some reason.
There would be about 6 channels in my lineup.
I don't follow. There's something wrong with the PBS lineup? Where do you get your Ken Burns docs, and Downton Abbey? They sold Sesame Street to HBO, but they also run the Sprout channel that my kids watch every day.
Is the PBS News Hour a bastion of SJW insanity, or is that Charlie Rose? Perhaps you're referring to the fucking opera performances? Does Austin City Limits really program your kids to be Marxists?
You fucking toons are out of control.
You are out of control. The NEA is a loser, PBS is a loser yes it accounts for a penny out people's paychecks, but I can hit you with it anytime I want. It doesn't cost money. it cost votes, airtime, column inches. You know why people don't like liberals? Because they lose. If liberals are so fucking smart why do they lose so goddamned always?
I was just riffing off a tv show, but since you wanna go down this route. Another reason you lose so goddamned always, when the left hears speech it doesn't like you encourage and excuse riots, with the right they politely ask to stop funding it. But we are the crazy ones? Ok, keep living in that bubble.

Yes you do. You just cant. If I was really that young you'd be having me join ISIS or just a plain old riot.GrumpyCatFace wrote:So young...so new to life... I don't wanna crush your worldview. Here it comes, baby... $3 TRILLION in assets hitting a market near you this year.

Shit is about to go BOOM, kids...Minutes from the last Federal Reserve meeting read, "Some participants viewed equity prices as quite high relative to standard valuation measures. It was observed that prices of other risk assets, such as emerging market stocks, high-yield corporate bonds, and commercial real estate, had also risen significantly in recent months

As rates creep up a new game of musical chairs is happening with the housing market. Hell homes in areas of Ohio like Columbus are on sale for only 2 days on average right now and the prices keep increasing like crazy.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Here it comes, baby... $3 TRILLION in assets hitting a market near you this year.

That's a fact, too. If I were able to move the family into a hotel for 6 months, I could make out like a fucking bandit while this crashes...SilverEagle wrote:As rates creep up a new game of musical chairs is happening with the housing market.
