Even if it was Trump's fault, why should we care? This is the US not Ukraine. You can only prop up a losing war for so long before it no longer becomes profitable.

100+ million US citizens voted for Kamala nevermind AIPAC and their influence. Half of us don't care at all but the other half has a thumb on the scale.
