Financial institutions is the one industry (with pharmaceuticals maybe being the only other) that I support heavy regulations and control by the state. This industry and these companies just have an excessive amount of influence on the overall economy to leave to their own devices.

I’m in the financial industry
So here’s the thing………..we are heavily regulated…….just not in the areas that matter. What I mean is we are extremely regulated on the retail side, think your local financial advisor. Every time a major crisis happens they slap more regulations on the retail side of the business. Basically making it hell on those of us on that side. Makes headlines and the dumb public cheers it on while the areas that should be more regulated simply are never addressed in the manner that they should. They are not going to take a steaming pile of shit in their wealth making playground.
