Seems a little suspicious, Matt Calvert barely tapped him, I mean barely, slow mo it doesn't even look like he touched him, and then J-Gards is supposedly so injured by it, he has to leave the game?

Seems plausible that there might be a trade in the mix, and they might be taking him off the ice just in case, it's not finalized so they don't want to attract attention by just pulling him.

I don't know, could be a broken finger I guess, but it doesn't look like he got him in the hands, it's like he taps him, ever so slightly, kind of around the right shoulder, then J-Gards starts waving his left hand, but I honestly don't see any contact with his left hand at all.

Yeah if he's hurt I didn't see how it happened, never saw contact with the hand though it might have, maybe the camera angles are just shit. Lower body injury? The fuck?

On the bright side, since the Leafs essentially have to defend by committee, no one defenceman is the linchpin, this is where Travis Demott is going to come in real handy. No star defenceman, but they actually have non star defensive depth.
