Personally, I have never bought into the Russian hysteria that surrounds Trump. My criticism of Flynn is that he took money from a foreign government, while simultaneously being in power in the US. I don't really care if it was China, Russia, or Botswana. Our leaders should not ever do that, as it is a conflict of interest.

Of course, it's a conflict of interest that Flynn took money from a foreign government but it's also who he took money from when he took money from, and also the fact that he lied and Pence/Trump lied about knowing about Flynn's work history.
