I gave up on Dan long ago. Too much of a fence sitter and his views changed every two minutes. I loved his CS show at first but after sitting down and really analysing his podcasts combined with his comments on his forum I found him to be full of yap but little to no action.
You realize you just described what a forum’s true purpose is right?
noun
1.
a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
Then why complain about something that is ”so obvious”?
Hell you are guilty of doing the same damn thing here. All yap no action, so how does that make you any better than him?

I didn't run a years long forum and podcast based around supposedly calling folks to take action in politics and demanding change. Dan did.
Strawman.
Dans fault was he wasn't a great orator. He wasn't able to get people to do things from his pulpit which was his forum and his podcast.
His forum and podcast did exactly what it was designed to do, to get people to talk about him, and the show.
When the forum became less about that, he shut it down.
Now, if you actually have a valid complaint, I'd love to hear it.
Dan's fault was that he held the middle of the road on every fucking issue. When called out by many of the originals on this forum he caved and bitched like a two year old claiming "they didn't understand" or "they misunderstood" or some other half baked excuse. He shut down the forums when he was called to task for his years of bloviating about an outsider in the POTUS seat then running to the far left side and bitching when it was Trump. It was classic Carlin. He took a stance on nothing, risked nothing, and always blamed his audience when they didn't agree with him that they must not be paying attention. It was subtle in the early years but was front and center towards the end of it. Nearly every long time supporter of his, that I saw on the forum, called him out for it.
