The Canada Cup wouldn't generate any more revenue, the Canada Cup would be the same, "gimmick teams!" didn't make any difference to the revenue, that's just you coming up with reasons to bitch about it, the NA Young Stars was a huge success, that team stole the show.

If it generates the same revenue regardless, than why is the gimmick team even a thing? It's not even a good gimmick, like a Soviet team would be, instead they dilute two of the best teams in tournament just to accommodate the gimmick team. Fuck that, if you are going to have a gimmick team, have the gimmick teams not steal talent from the national teams, have them add talent to a national team, like a Soviet team would add talent to Russia from the former Soviet Republics.
