Dunno. Definitely favoring his front-left leg and maybe back right. I'd agree more with SF on it though, looks more like broken/wounded leg(s), or maybe rabies, than distemper.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 7:41 pmLooks more like distemper to me.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 7:30 pmPoor bastard has 2 broken legs.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 6:52 pmMight be habbening.
Habbening level: tentative zombie outbreak
I had a skunk in my yard the other year, spring time in mid-afternoon, obviously favoring his front-left... It was obviously injured - I started tossing food out for it, over a year later it's still coming around - although more around dusk time - still a very slight limp but its leg is far better. They generally only make it 3-5 years max in the wild though.
Still, smart is to avoid them if they're looking crazy. Not like you can really do anything. If it's rabies it'll probably die soon and is dangerous. Distemper it might last longer. Even if it's just wounded it's more vulnerable to predators, and in the city especially will have a tougher time feeding itself.
