it's like in the Yugoslav Civil War, everybody had guns

they looted the Warsaw Pact military arsenal

but it was three factions, Catholic Croats, Orthodox Serbs & Muslim Bosniacs

so it imploded, the federation went to war with itself

pretty soon parents were sending their teenage daughters out to get water, sheer desperate thirst

I remain confident that the ‘deplorable’ half of America ain’t going anywhere. I really do think at some point this comes down to rebellion or government capitulation.

I can’t think of a historical example for a division like this ending without civil war or Collapse.
