Hint 1: Look at the last name.
Hint 2: Remove the "son" from the last name.
Hint 3: In Polish, the word for "son (of)" is "witz".

Maybe.

Maybe the moon landing was faked.

Maybe the Earth is flat.

Maybe the Bible simply neglected to mention the fact that we were all riding dinosaurs 5000 years ago.

When hard evidence supplies some facts indicating that the attack was by rebels using US supplied chemical weapons it might make a worthy discussion. Until then I'd prefer to keep my unfounded "maybe" discussions centered around dino-riders.

Maybe Assad just decided he wants to go out like Saddam..

I believe Seymour Hersch reported that was the case. Sarin.

But it's very difficult to make chlorine gas. You'd need both bleach and ammonia. Do these folk have that level of sophistication? :snicker:

Firsthand investigation of the site be reporters, firsthand reports from doctors treating the actual victims, wide acceptance of the facts by multinational organizations (who disagree over wording a condemnation) . . .
. . . or as the collective wisdom of the internet denizens call it, only a youtube video.

I guess when that's what you're up against, two seconds of thought pretty much does make Scott Adams a genius.
It's simple: Assad couldn't have done it, because some other guys have an agenda. Things cannot be two things at once, DB. :o

Don't rule out the possibility of SAF being infiltrated and a Sarin bomb being loaded in order to frame Assad.

Possible, but I have even less information to form an educated opinion on the matter than those whose job it is to know these things.
I mean.. Given the fact that Assad gave up his chemical weapons in order to get Russian support, and given the fact that he is winning the civil war now and has absolutely no interest in pulling the world into the conflict against him
You are assuming Assad has the same sensibilities as you. There is no reason to believe he will act in a way that our culture would deem rational.

Personally i prefer to form opinions based on facts, not on conjecture. What I know is there are a lot of people in Syria that died after an attack by Assad, and our intelligence community believes Assad used chemical weapons. Yes they could have bad information, or there could be some conspiracy going on as of right now though I have no evidence in support. All I have in opposite is people saying, "This is illogical within my world view!"
