It's not a wake, and I didn't shoot it up, it's a thread, and I simply spoke the truth of my memory of the man, as he was, and with exponentially more respect than he ever showed to me and my kin, which, again, is more than fair enough where I come from.

It’s a virtual wake and you shot it up. We’re not going to agree on this and so be it, but I don’t get the “where I come from” part. Where is it ok to disrespect the people at a wake? A separate thread, IMO after a decent interval, but not on the eulogy thread.
