Jim McMahon was too sexy for his forehead always needs a sweatband. And his eyes, needed a visor on his helmet.

2 teams. Patriots were perfect for more games. Just blew it at the end.C-Mag wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 6:38 pmThey were a great team, as good as any other team with one or two losses during a season, but only one team went undefeated. Moreover, they were a one hit wonder. Great for a season. No staying power.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 12:53 pmhttps://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/n ... 886459001/
Dude. They won every game by an average of 18 points.1. 1985 Bears (won Super Bowl XX):Pure dominance. Their 15 regular-season wins came by an average of 18.1 points. The defense collected 64 sacks while allowing just 12.4 points a week. Chicago shut out the Giants and Rams in the NFC playoffs before that epic 46-10 Super Bowl dismantling of New England. All told, the Bears outscored their postseason opponents 91-10.
There's never been anything close to that.

You sound like a liberal. "You see, 2 teams were undefeated, one of them just lost at the end".

Re: NFL 2020
Watching the Patriots lose to the Giants was a great memory.
I was at an Army NCO training class. We had the day off, all gathered at the NCO club and watched the game. I was wondering before the game if I'd be the only Giants fan there. Well, turned out everyone was rooting for the Giants.
Some of them told me they had not cared, but when Brady said, "Yeah, right, we're only going to score 17 points". Was the moment they said fuck the Patriots.

The helmet catch was a moment that anyone who watched it, will remember it. Magical.
Then Eli Manning, Tom Coughlin and the Giants did it again a couple years later as an encore.
The Giants managed to get pressure on Brady, that's the key to turning him into an average QB.

No argument there. They’ve always had the biggest, baddest O-line. I will never understand why other teams can’t clue into that. 80% of the game is won or lost on the line.C-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:26 amThe helmet catch was a moment that anyone who watched it, will remember it. Magical.

The NE O line has never gotten it's due, and all ESPN can do is bitch about Brady not having any weapons. I can say from watching Miami that all their troubles since Marino have been due to no emphasis on the O Line. Take Tannehill, he was a mid to bottom tier QB at Miami, goes to the Titans with an O Line and Running game, and suddenly he's a pro bowler.

Same with Chicago. They're like a beating ground for QBs. If you survive your contract, you can sign with a team that protects you.C-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 12:17 pmDamn thing is, everyone knows it. This is the difference between people that understand the game, and fanboys/MaddenBoyz/gamblers. Unfortunately, those are the people that owners/GMs cater to. Every. Fucking. Time.

Sports talking heads are berating Bruce Arians for calling Brady out on his poor play. I swear they are trying to create a rift.
