i dunno, feels like a defeat for white people on this one, the left will be pointing to this incident for years to come. they were blaming trump and white people within minutes. maybe it will accelerate a race civil war, but i doubt it. too many white people think this is not the correct course of action to address foreign immigration, myself included

Mass punishment was quite extreme for the Romans, that was generally reserved for war against non Romans.

In this case the Romans would done pretty much what New Zealand is doing. The Romans had the rule of law, the offenders would be arrested, tried and executed by due process.
