Toronto is just a big version of SF
SF is the heart of all faggotry, both literal, social, and political.

Yeah, Silicon Valley is a problem.
They make so much money by wage suppression, and yet the Culture Commies uphold them.
This is why I subscribe to the Anti-Work Movement.

Anti-work is not a great idea. Anti-corporate jobs constitutes a better strategy. Convince people to go into small businesses and trades. Get them into producing local foods and goods, and to buy local as much as they can afford. Begin an alternative economy.
The point where we don't actually depend upon these globalist corporations we can tell them to get bent.
This is not even a left-right issue. It's a self-preservation issue. Shit is going to get really fucking awful for the average worker in the coming decades. You will be treated like slaves in every respect by these corporations. I know the kinds of computerized tracking and monitoring that is possible, and none of you are going to be happy about this one bit. Get out while you can.

Work needs to be abolished.
It was supposed to have been already, that was the promise of technology, but the opposite has occurred.
The Work Ethic is folly.
It does however make people fear freedom, so it is difficult to get them to give it up.

Re: The Era of Trump Supporters
We are born a few generations too early for that, and that's assuming we can avert this intellectual dark age we see growing around us.
After probably ten years from now, you will see the musical chairs effect as we enter the transitional period between capitalism and whatever comes next in a post-scarcity, post-labor society, but it takes a long time for that to come about, both technologically and socially.
A more appropriate tact to take here is to acknowledge the goal of a completely automated society in which humans can pursue excellence, create culture, and pursue whatever they want, all in order that we can slowly divert social evolution towards that particular end instead of the nightmare corporatist/welfare state future in which most of us are work slaves and the product of automation is horded by a few.

You can't just get rid of corporate jobs and keep your work, all jobs are corporate jobs, corporate v. not corporate is a false dichotomy, moreover incorporation is not the problem.

Wrong. You just live in corporate Toronto. Where I live, most jobs are small businesses. Even the shitlib millennials in Asheville are doing their own thing locally and creating an alternative economy.
There really are no big employers here. The biggest employers I think are the hospitals and the government schools.

Re: The Era of Trump Supporters
Your answer to everything is to flee off to the hills somewhere and call everybody a shitlib.
That's not a realistic solution for the masses, that is utopian, whereas anti-work is quite practical.
Fighting for the right to work is what the masses do, but that is folly, problem is, they fear freedom.
Refusal to work is not a utopia per se, none the less, beats working.

You don't have to flee off to the hills, and my point was that even the shitlibs are doing this.

Just opt-out of the corporate system as much as possible. Problem solves itself over time.
