And the biggest threat to black people is OTHER black people. But don't let that throw a hitch in your giddyup.

Suck it up blacks, you don't get freedom of speech.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Nobody is guaranteed freedom of speech while at work for someone else. Do that shit on your own time or on federal property. You keep making this about black people just exposes your ignorance on the subject. Retarded.

I seem to remember some people complaining a year or so ago, about a guy who got fired from Google (or was it Apple?) who circulated an anti-SJW memo, and got fired for it. Seem to remember how much of a tragedy that was...

How did he "circulate" it? Did he use one of these?

Or was it the case that he was asked to post his thought on a compulsory diversity program he had attended and, being a good little engineer he did just what he was asked and sent it to an internal mailing list.

Result's the same, ain't it? Voiced opinions that the company did not want to be associated with = Got fired for it.

They asked for his opinion. They got it internally. Someone gave it to Gizmodo. He got fired.
Not quite the same

Scott Adams is right about analogies being poor persuasion.

Does not matter because again, result's the same and so is the principle of companies having a right to fire you for saying something that "reflects poorly on them", no matter the context or where the opinion was uttered.

He voiced an opinion the company did not want voiced => Fired. Company could have ignored third party (Gizmodo) involvement, respected the opinions of the angry public, but still defended their employee's right to have an unpopular opinion. They did not. NFL could have chosen to simply let their players be contracted for nothing but playing sport, and not mention anything about off-playing field conduct.. they did not.
