Taste and discretion are underrated qualities. I see a future for human curators when AI takes all the other jobs, and the rest of us are reduced to writing blogs for each other in a vain attempt to attract advertisers or Patreon subscribers.

I have podcasts coming up explaining how people are admired for wealth and get their credibility from fame to the exclusion of all else. I don't know if this has always been the case? I naively thought merit and accomplishments but really only wealth & fame count. Unless you’re famous or wealthy when you die, so what? You're a loser.

Even then ... see if anyone remembers Bill Gates or Steve Jobs in 200 years.

I certainly can't name the richest man of 1818 A.D. off the top of my head.
