So, how do we solve the problem of kicking the can down the road? There are of course no easy solutions to this. How do we solve this problem? It's not fair to the next generation to leave them with our problems, or the problems of our parents, or grand parents.

Change yourself first, set a good example, and make personal sacrifices. Prolly a good start. Kinda like how taking care of the environment is a good thing even if you ignore global warming.
