Actually I'm negotiating with some yoga girl right now about parking behind her house in the shade. It's near my new job and the 24hr gym. The new gym is the shit too. Private showers ftwn. I might get a window ac installed in the back window and told her if I could run an extension cord I would pitch in on the light bill.

You’re much likelier to get access to the power thanks to your reasonable offer of pitching in on the electric bill. Of course, there are at least two people in the thread who think it’s pure nazism to ask you to do anything beyond demanding access to her electricity because we’re not barbarians or something.TheReal_ND wrote:Actually I'm negotiating with some yoga girl right now about parking behind her house in the shade. It's against the law to help homeless people in Chicago. Sad story about a man who just wanted to make sure a dozen or people didn't freeze to death during the worst part of winter.

Man Who Sheltered Homeless People in His Basement Stops After City Order
I think there are many cities around the country, including a couple in Florida, where it's illegal to even give a homeless person a sandwich, because food safety blah blah something something.

He called the gatherings “movie nights” and said he had offered hot drinks and snacks. At most, 15 people stayed, he said, adding that he remained up all night to supervise the gathering. But city officials on Friday said the arrangement was unlawful and a zoning and public safety issue, as well as a property maintenance issue.

Meh.
No one should be harassed for wanting to give food to the needy.
On the other hand, if my pinko neighbors decide they’re so compassionate that they want to set up homeless tent cities on their front lawn it seems like the rest of the community should probably get a say in that. If I can’t play the drums at 3AM because the noise disturbs the neighbors, then I’d love to hear the rationale for allowing ad hoc homeless facilities to flourish on suburban lawns (or soup kitchens in basements).

Sounds cushy Nuke. You're back on your way up. You'll be paying rent and housing tax in no time.TheReal_ND wrote:Actually I'm negotiating with some yoga girl right now about parking behind her house in the shade. For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I'm sure that's part of the "negotiation".Speaker to Animals wrote:Maybe he just wants to bang yoga chicks every now and again.
He should find out if she's vegan though. Gotta be careful, if he decides to break/change the rules of that "negotiation" the banging might wind up being more the kind of recent youtube fame.

They're all vegans to some degree. These yoga chicks are crazy as fuck. All of them. It's worth a bit of hassle.
