There's massively underused arable land around the world anyways, if anything, American economic imperialism reduces global food production rather than increases it, there's all kinds of places they could go, if they were forced to.

Again, plenty of water for California right here, we don't allow bulk water exports, but only for political reasons, Canada has more than enough water to bulk export to the US, if push came to shove.
