So black people are naturally cast as the help now?

Lady Gaga really did have a great half-time show and I do really like that Christopher Walken commercial. I also like the tank commercial as well- kind of stupid but funny.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Yeah that was actually a really good show. No stupid guest cameos, no lip syncing. Thumbs up.
Best commercial goes to Christopher Walken.

Apparently the statement (if there was one) was so veiled, even WAPO didn't initially notice it.Ultimately, the performance was a mix of feel-good throwback songs with a dose of patriotism. Starting on the roof with red, white and blue lights in the background, Lady Gaga sang a brief medley of “God Bless America” and “This Land is Your Land.” She ended with the final line of the pledge of allegiance: “One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all” … before jumping off the ledge, suspended by wires, and flying gracefully to the stage on the field.
Agreed. I'm surprised that they'd be digging so hard for controversy.. But that's just how our media rolls now, sadly.PartyOf5 wrote:I'm happy to take it as a show of patriotism and "let's be one" rather than dig for obscure skeletons looking for another reason to take sides. The only sides in the Super Bowl should be (football) team you are rooting for.
