He was a scam candidate the entire time. I think he was in on the rigging of the democratic primaries.

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing. He rolled over far too easily and jumped on the Hillary bandwagon, got his new vaca home. Evicted his followers and went back to the Congress. Did you see how passionate he was at attacking Trumps nominees ?

If he really believed was he says he believes and used half that gusto against Hilldawg, he would have won the Dem nomination in a walk. Hillary was an awful candidate and vulnerable in so many ways. But Bernie is a cuck and just rolled over.

Its a couple years old but I just found it

Just turned on the vintage media. At one of these womens marches a black male speaker was calling out the Democrat establishment. Said the Dem's need new leadership and they have to throw out all the current leaders.

Here's the thing about this election. Once the dust settles. The Lefties are gonna be pissed at Hillary and the DNC for cheating them in their primary. The Dem allies in the media are doing all they can to frame Trump as the enemy, to focus the hate so the Dems don't look inward. I think the Dem establishment will continue to hold on to their power in the Dem Party.
I'm thinking more and more that what we are seeing is a party collapse and die.

I'm not ready to call it yet. A lot has to happen in the next 4 - 8 years to be sure, but if they hold to their current strategy and can't get out of their flawed logic loop with no exits, then they will.

Trump has to be successful in many ways to complete the destruction of the progressive establishment.
1. He needs to get us out of the post Tech Bubble Depression we've been in for 20 years, 2008 was the double dip.
2. He needs to unit average Americans by proving he can drain at least part of the swamp
3. He has to forge an International movement to combat Islamic Terrorism that allows the US to pull back from world poice mode

If he can show some substantial movement in these areas, he can win in 2012 and solidify the challenge to the DC Progressive Establishment. It will be tough, very tough. I do belive he's down for the fight. Not sure, how much he can accomplish.

8-)
Yeah, I took the guy at his word and went along with what so many were saying about him, but Bernie really showed his true colors since the DNC Convention.

Nothing about immigration. I hate civic nationalists and I want boomers and their failed immigration policy to gas themselves.

I don't even factor Trump into the collapse of the Dems. The only way he's involved in it is that it's his face that embodies what they are reacting to, but it's their reaction that is what matters. Their actions. Their violence. Their insanity. Their candidates. They're killing themselves, and I think it's about to accelerate.

Every instance of them losing their shit and being an embarrassment, be it through rioting or literally kicking and screaming on the ground like a toddler, drives reasonable people away. Those embarrassments are going to grow to represent a larger and larger segment of the party, and it will consume itself.

I'm not certain that's a fact, but the party is going in that direction, and the longer it does so without a course correction makes me think there's less and less chance there's going to be one.

Hmmmmmmm

You may have a point there.

So in your way of thinking do you believe the current Dems are just the 60s radials burning themselves out in one final bright flame ?

I wasn't alive back then. I really don't know. I think the feeling I'm getting is something you have to be around for. You can't bottle it and share it with posterity.

I can speak from experience inside my district.

Now that the downward pressure from the Cold War has been gone for a generation, the Dems are infested with socialists & outright Marxists. Socialists I can debate, but Marxists are envious & resentful, impossible to get more than a few words in before "talk to the hand." As an OWG, I often suffer the wrath of their disdain. Combine that with a complete lack of self-awareness & a sanctimonious certainty of their righteousness, and I don't know where we're going. I have NEVER discussed policy or ideology in a Dem meeting. We are basically told what to think. A small cadre of people form around me, and we sometimes gather to talk politics outside the formal Dem structure, but within the system nobody cares what I have to say. When campaign organizers ask me why I run for office, I always answer, "to give voters a choice." They don't seem to understand that reasoning?
