Direct TV has a strict policy not to refund NFL Season Ticket once the Season has started. Direct TV is now refunding NFL Season Ticket as people call in an note the Anthem protests.

DirectTV is based. Howard Hughes started it. Great man. Real American kind of man.
Edit: of course Hollywood did a right proper hit job on him

Yeah I remember doing it, but it was at squad/platoon level. No officer or 1st was in sight and the opposite sex had to use one finger only.Okeefenokee wrote:My NCOs got me in the hall the day after I made points. They knew they couldn't do it during the promotion, so they had me standing in the hall outside the platoon office for some made up excuse, and they all came down the hall in file while I was standing there at parade rest waiting to be called in.C-Mag wrote:Yeah, me too.DBTrek wrote:Running the gauntlet to have your stripes pounded into your collar by the platoon, every new rank, no backing.
That was the Army I joined.
Guess I probably got the tail end of the real Army.
Before I got out in 2013 I could no longer authorize that to happen officially. But NCO's were still doing it off the books and the Newly Promoted asked for the honor of Walking the Gauntlet.
It was a reverse gauntlet. I stood there and took the hits as they filed past. Good memory.

I have yet to do it blind, I got to get my wife to help me.Okeefenokee wrote:Nope. Different. We can tell easily.clubgop wrote:But Coke 2 was a different formula. These two I can't tell the difference. It's just a branding change.Okeefenokee wrote:
We bought up all the bottles of zero we could find when we realized they killed it and went with zero sugar.
It's like coke 2 all over again. Store manager down the road says sales are way down.
The upgraded Coke Zero is called Coke Zero Sugar, and it’s made with an even better-tasting recipe that delivers real Coca-Cola taste with zero sugar and zero calories. We’re confident Coke Zero Sugar is our best-tasting zero-sugar Coca-Cola® yet. And we can’t wait for you to try it!

I wanted to laugh at all you sportsball watchers. I wanted to be edgy and rub it in your faces. I really did. Instead I'm sad. I'm very very sad.

The entire cast of the new Star Trek Discovery decided to take a knee, even before their first episode airs.
Apparently very confident that no Star Trek fans past or present would disagree with them
Good Plan

I thought bad sci fi and social issues were the hallmark of Star Trek
