If the media doesn't act like how they are supposed to which is unbiased, and informational reporting, then they loose their rights... and as far as I can tell, they have.

If you don't act like you are supposed to, with unbiased and informational reporting, do you lose your rights? No. Then neither should the media. Just because they do it as a profession doesn't mean they should be stripped of their rights, if they don't act the way you would like them to.

I'm not protected like they are. If I don't give my sources to the police I can go to jail/prison. The media are protected under specific constitutional rights that the average citizen isn't. When the media start playing politics on behalf of a party, they should loose those rights, and be treated like everyone else.

Apparently all it took to get Americans to go full on Canadian when it comes to free speech is to have the media talk smack about Donald Trump, before that these folks were pro-free speech, but media propaganda against Trump has now changed their mind for some reason.
