We have the de facto titles of:
Billionaire
Son of Billionaire
Multi-Millionaire
Son of Multi-Millionaire
Millionaire

7% of the population are at least Millionaires, so no revolution yet, but 7% is damn close to not being enough.

Inheritance taxes have never prevented an aristocracy from forming before, why Hash thinks they will now, that's beyond me.

America has an aristocracy, always has, stop believing your silly founding myths. That clause does not prevent an aristocracy, not even close.
I would argue aristocracy is unAmerican. Hell, it even says it right there in the Constitution. I laugh when people think of their selves as aristocratic. I imagine places like New York have their non-titled aristocracy? What silly people they are.

Hash you think that the amount a person makes means they are seen as aristocracy? But you're slumming with is peasants then. People could make thousands of times what I make, but if they can't bring a good argument, why should I care?

How does your re-distribution plan work? You are against UBI.

Maybe we should stick to addressing actual problems rather than what self proclaimed geniuses “know” will happen, eh?

If the geniuses are right, we can address their concerns when the issue manifests. If the issue never manifests - look at all the time and energy we saved not fighting the paranoia induced phantoms of geniuses.

Apparently, your argument is that there is no aristocracy forming. Okay, you go with that. Denial works.

That's because you are stupid American who has been brainwashed into thinking America can transcend human nature with a constitutional clause. So naive.

Incentives will cause redistribution of wealth: Invisible Hand shit.
1) Pre-Reagan Progressive tax rates stop executives from taking big salaries.
2) Giving away a Billionaire's wealth at his death results in at least 1000 more Millionaires.
3) Monopolies have a difficult time forming because maintaining a majority becomes difficult.
4) Giving a huge (100%) deduction for reinvesting money into businesses that employ people not only employs people, it also makes people of known competent management skills oversee them to protect his/her investment.

Folk are just folk, we're all made of the same stuff. I'm not going to treat people differently just because they have money. Most of us have access to the greatest minds in history now. Even the lowest tend to know how to read, and can pull up Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, or damn near anyone they want, instantly. Aristocracy isn't going to take hold because peasants know how to read. How Aristocratic can you be if the peasants are soundly beating you in logic and rhetoric? If they make better art, or write great letters.

How does that prevent an aristocracy from being formed? Not seeing it, you can reduce the influence of the aristocracy, or increase the turnover that exists among the aristocracy, but you can't eliminate it altogether.

So going overboard on the Robin Hood Economics is not the way to go, does more harm than good.

Denial works especially well when the other side can’t produce any examples of that which is being denied.
