How many electoral votes does that win you? Running up the score in places where it doesn't matter if you run up the score is pretty irrelevant if you lose the game and it wasn't even close.

The polls did not accurately reflect Trump's support, what makes you think they are now? Their excellent track record when it comes to measuring Trump's support?

The question was about his overall support. It's roughly 50%, officially. The turnout was rather low, but the election is, in effect, a giant poll.

GDP print came out today = 1.6% GDP growth for 2016. Interestingly, Obama is the first two-term prez to never see a GDP print above 3%.

So let's do the math: pitiful 1.6% growth despite record-er deficit spending + incoming tariffs/trade war/whatever else = ALL TIME HIGHS.

Tariffs are a bluff. No incoming trade wars imminent. Trump's psychological effect on the markets are having a bullish effect. Don't sleep on Trump's animal spirit taming skills.
