Here you go, if you want to see a true breakdown of the voting by county...

If anything, this is why there is an electorate... and why we don't go by popular vote.

sigh. It's about leading the whole country. I agree that if his goal is to completely alienate half the country, he's doing a spectacular job. Seriously; many of my closest friends were willing to give him a fair shot, but this kind of petulant behavior is obnoxious. are getting annoyed by this childish behavior.
I'm glad you think it's charming, but you're Canadian, so you don't have to live under a child's leadership.
I'm not going to get into with you about my loony lefty friends... I stopped following 2 of them on FB because they are also behaving like spoiled children. He screams, they scream... everybody is screaming all the time, now.

Yes we do, we have Trudeau, far more in common with Trump than you think, different style, same tactics, and even more inexperienced, not only has never run a country, but has never even had to make a payroll in his utterly pampered life, hasn't really ever had a real job in fact.Kath wrote:I'm glad you think it's charming, but you're Canadian, so you don't have to live under a child's leadership.

The popular vote, state by state, is meaningless for determining the winner, but a very helpful tool to determine actual support. Votes indicate he's not really that popular.Fife wrote:
Very, VERY even. This is why the popular vote stuff is meaningless, and a canard when used as an arguing point.

IMO, he should be more serious and stop complaining that his "thing" wasn't the bigliest ever. He's not going to have the bigliest everything, so he should shrug it off and move on.

And Capps is his biggest fan, especially when he throws a temper tantrum?Smitty-48 wrote:Yes we do, we have Trudeau, far more in common with Trump than you think, different style, same tactics, and even more inexperienced, not only has never run a country, but has never even had to make a payroll in his utterly pampered life, hasn't really ever had a real job in fact.Kath wrote:I'm glad you think it's charming, but you're Canadian, so you don't have to live under a child's leadership.

Pssst... Kath, .... his goal was NOT about "completely alienating half the country," is was to WIN THE GAME.Kath wrote:sigh. It's about leading the whole country. If he doesn't want to alienate half the country, why is he trying to alienate half the country?

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
I think Capps would acknowledge that the Dauphin Trudeau is a formidable opponent, and that the Liberals can deploy him effectively whenever they get into trouble, as a distraction from the issues, in the same way that Trump does it in the USA, Trudeau definitely goes out of his way to alienate his opponents, to troll them into overreaching, that's the Trudeau game in a nutshell.Kath wrote:And Capps is his biggest fan, especially when he throws a temper tantrum?Smitty-48 wrote:Yes we do, we have Trudeau, far more in common with Trump than you think, different style, same tactics, and even more inexperienced, not only has never run a country, but has never even had to make a payroll in his utterly pampered life, hasn't really ever had a real job in fact.Kath wrote:I'm glad you think it's charming, but you're Canadian, so you don't have to live under a child's leadership.
Trudeau is a New Model Politician in the same vein as Trump, he's just playing for the other side..
