Average women didn't trash anyone, but there's always going to be those people who deny the obvious for a myriad of reasons. Most harassed women were afraid of losing their jobs. Weinstein was extraordinarily powerful. There's strength in numbers - now it's safe to say what happened.

I am not dismissing anything. I think every single one of these allegations should be thoroughly investigated, and if evidence arises that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the accuser lied, then she should face the legal consequences for that. On the other hand, prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he forceably raped somebody and he should go to prison for a long time.

What I oppose is all this nonsense people are talking about assuming guilt based on nothing more than allegations.

Fact is, women in Hollywood have been whoring themselves out on the proverbial casting couch to get good parts since Hollywood was in its infancy. Did Weinstein offer women parts for a blowjob or whatever? Probably. Apparently its a long tradition in Hollywood, which shouldn't surprise anybody who recognizes that degenerate place for what it is. But is that rape? No.

No it's cohersion and abuse of power.
I agree that many of the allegations will not go to court due to lack of evidence. That is not proof that women deliberately chose to have sex with fat ugly men for their own benefit. Nor is it acceptable that women had to prostitute themselves in order to further their careers. It is abuse however you look at it.
