tbf 10th mountain is a pretty tough outpost based on what I hear. I don't envy him. Well I do. That's probably a badass experience. Too bad our officers are becoming commies and external Americans though. w/e. Burn it all down.

For the Neophytes out there, here's how it goes............. old hands, you can critique me

This guys commander will go to him personally. Word is this guy is in the Field til Friday. Doesn't matter, the Commander will go out there with the Sr NCO and pull him from his leadership position and restrict him to quarters. The investigating officers will begin putting together lists of people to question. Peers and Superiors generally, they try to stay away from Subordinates unless necessary.

In this case, the investigation is going to go back to West Point. The US Army will want to know, who knew what, when about this guys open communism. What happened................... Oh, and the Commandant of West Point will be asked directly how in the hell he let this get this far.

I remember when you guys were outraged that The Navy would be against this:

Nearly a month later, the Navy has announced that the investigation is over and that "corrective measures" have been doled out to select members of the unit.

Lt. Jacqui Maxwell, a spokeswoman for Naval Special Warfare Group 2, said in a statement to The Washington Post that punitive actions were taken but declined to comment on the precise nature of the punishment or how many individuals were affected.

"The inquiry was completed between the unit's commanders and service members," Maxwell's statement said. "It has been determined that those service members have violated the spirit and intent of applicable DoD regulations concerning the flying of flags and the apparent endorsement of political activities. Administrative corrective measures were taken with each individual based on their respective responsibility."

Law doesn't care about just what political party or candidates you are promoting. What the corrective measures are can differ.
