It's really not. The electoral map sweep doesn't tell the part where he barely eeked out victories in most of those states. Half the country found Clinton more palatable than Trump. He's not very popular. These penis-size tantrums are not helping him look like a leader for those people. It's disgusting.

I want him to shut up, stop telling the media they have no right to cover his presidency and man up.... Grown men do not behave like children. He's been blathering on and on how he had a constant standing ovation at the CIA meeting, but the top guys in the CIA say it didn't happen and that his visit made relations between the WH and CIA worse.

He's truly delusional.

Just to haters like you Kath. No one gives a shit about Trump mentioning crowd size to care one way or the other, let alone having strong feelings on the matter in either direction. This literally turns no one off who wasn't already turned off to begin with and it rallies his base. That's a big win for Trump no matter how much you are by Trump's actions, the public doesn't share your view.

You're delusional. The CIA applauded his visit, the media reports that it made things worse are fake news. They just want to pretend that Trump is at odds with the intelligence community. Stop buying media propaganda just because they paint a negative picture of Trump that your confirmation bias makes you think is true, you accept way too many media lies at face value, it's sad.

SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

No I didn't. But apparently Kath did because "of course the CIA would think so poorly of Trump, the media said so".

Sigh
A former division chief said: “It was good that he came, but it came across as very political. He didn’t understand his audience, which is the most apolitical crowd in Washington.” This former official’s first reaction was that “it was so inappropriate, what he said and where he said it.” But later, after surveying a range of colleagues, he said that the reaction overall was “a mix of cautious gratitude and bemused acceptance, along with disappointment and worse.”

One guy's anecdotal evidence is not a sign that all of the CIA people in the room thought the statement was inappropriate. Fake News, there is no proof that the room thought Trump was out of line, the media just pretended that was the case, because they thought it was out of line themselves and they projected that line of thinking on the people in that room. You are doing the same thing.

Prove the quote was fake or shut up. He claimed he had a 100% standing ovation. Some CIA officials disagree.

No Trump claimed he had a big ovation. He never claimed every single person clapped. You shut up, you fake news parrot.

Trump on torture at today's press conference;

"Mattis will override because I'm giving him that power. ... I'm going to rely on him..., he's an expert, he's highly respected, he's the General's General.. I happen to feel that it does work ... but I am going with our leaders."

On Putin and Russia;

"I don't say good, bad, or indifferent, I don't know the gentleman, I hope we have a fantastic relationship, that's possible, but it's also possible that we wont, we will see what happens, I will be representing the American people, very, very strongly, very forcefully... if we have a great relationship with Russia... and go after ISIS together, I will consider that a good thing not a bad thing, how the relationship works out, I will have to tell you later, I've had many times where I thought I would get along with people, and now I don't like them at all."

He's certainly frank, you have to give him that.

Federal employees do not sit in the presence of the president unless he tells them to sit down. He didn't tell them to sit down. That's not a standing ovation, Capps. Geez.
