If you wanted to motivate Blue voters, what would you tell them?C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:10 amI did it...………. I turned on the corporate media and looked at their election map.
They say the House is sitting at GOP 235, Dem 193 with 36 Toss Ups.
WTF kind of math are they using that results in DEM control of the house ?
I keep hearing that the Dems are likely to take the House, what am I missing, because while it might be close, that math doesn't work out for the Dems.

If you get the dems elected to the House, it will be free dildos and strap-ons to peg your beta baby daddies in the ass, and free sex reassignment surgery for the soyboys.

Re: 2018 Mid-Term Elections
Dude just said the Dems are expected to hold a 10 seat advantage over the GOP after Tuesday. I think it's fair to say 80% of the electorate is locked in one way or the other. I'm not seeing any polling that shows the Dems have a huge lead amongst independents or undecided. I do see some polling that says the GOP have solid leads amongst those groups. This feels very much like 2 years ago.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:21 amSuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:18 amIf you wanted to motivate Blue voters, what would you tell them?C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:10 amI did it...………. Re: 2018 Mid-Term Elections
I've gotten no less than 4 of those glossy cardstock political are for just one of my local candidates... In the past week. Plus two cell phone texts for her as well - one of which actually started with my name. I don't give out my cell#, I've never used it for a "recovery" number for fakebook, email, or literally anywhere - i've given it out to 3 old co-workers (friends), a personal friend, and my family, and that's it, so it really really really annoys me to get a political text with my name, obviously targeted at me specifically.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:51 amDude just said the Dems are expected to hold a 10 seat advantage over the GOP after Tuesday. Not getting my vote for that, even though I wasn't planning on it anyways.
I replied to the text with my name:
"Lindsay, thanks for your text, because of it you definitely will not be getting my vote. My cell phone number was given to family and a total of 4 close friends, I'm not sure how you got it but please do not ever use it again. "

Re: 2018 Mid-Term Elections
Where are getting these numbers from there are only 435 Members of the House. I believe 235 - 193 is the current makeup that leaves like 7 open seats. Dems need 25 seats to get control. Some seats are already in the bag for them so the number is probably at 23 or 20. And with 36 toss up it is possible maybe even probable that they take it.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 6:10 amI did it...………. I turned on the corporate media and looked at their election map.

I must have seen that wrong when they popped it up on the screen. My Statespoll has some news I'm not pleased about. The Dems have a better chance in his latest assessment, 2 seats moved from likely GOP to toss up.clubgop wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 12:48 pmWhere are getting these numbers from there are only 435 Members of the House. By that, the Dems need to pick up 12/15 toss ups. That still seems difficult.

Re: 2018 Mid-Term Elections
Somebody needs to recognize the fallacy for what it is.
You do not get to opt out of the war. Your best and most optimal solution is to take control of one party, eject the "poison", and then win the fucking war.
The fallacy is two-part: (1) it falsely assumes you have some choice between the parties or to opt-out or to create some nebulous third party. (2) It falsely assumes that the cancer in the two political parties is fixed and cannot be expunged.
People who go along with this fallacy, and most of us did for a time, condemn their future to liberal hell.
