It's definitely tricky. I have a mental disorder and the most violent I've ever been during a meltdown was I broke a couple of dishes. My son, OTOH, breaks stuff because his car didn't go where he wanted in GTA. Not joking, either. He breaks a phone about twice a year. It would be more frequent, but we wait a long time before he is allowed to get a new one. And then there's that one time he punched the MAC in the face and broke it completely, just because something didn't go his way.StCapps wrote:
Some folks with mental illnesses should obviously be disqualifying from ownership though, so it's a fine line to walk on that one, not sure that I know exactly where to draw that line, but the answer certainly isn't either extreme.
But how is anyone supposed to know that for the background check?
