I'd be happy to discuss any specific point with an example.

Not being able to say 'he' or 'she' in a public building, for instance, is an exaggeration. I rolled a stop sign in San Francisco and had to go to court - a very public building. People said 'he' and 'she' a lot. I did. The judge did. The other people in my group did. It was a tyrannical, bureaucratic ass-ache, but not because of gender politics or wokeness.

It never came up. Nobody was asked about their pronouns. In San Francisco, 2020, USA.

This is my point. You were talking about a specific public building, but that got exaggerated and universalized to 'public buildings.' Which just isn't true. Your inaccuracy and lack of specificity isn't a problem of my honesty or information.

The great thing about American federalism is that they can have dumb-shit procedural rules in DC that don't affect the vast majority of citizens - even citizens living in one of the most progressive places in the country.
