Once again, all other things being equal, if we had video tape of a private citizen giving inane orders to an obviously drunk intruder, upon penalty of getting shot, -- AFTER the intruder was flat on his belly with his hands extended out on the floor and his legs crossed -- which then results in the drunk getting wobbly and maybe making some possibly threatening gesture; . . . well you tell me what you think would have happened to the shooter at trial.

Fife, I agree with you on a lot of things. We both know that Tennessee is a diamond in the rough that got dealt a bad hand this season due to bullshit NCAA politics. They would have been undefeated in the sunbelt conferences in an average season if the conference shuffled around some teams and got rid of the really good programs. We disagree about things too. But this meme is goddamn hilarious. I'm gonna link this bingo chart when some Blue Lives Matter person uses one of these.

Only made it to page 28 before scrolling past.
Damn, folks going full shrieking leftist in this thread.
Look at these clowns. Everything from personally vilifying anyone who speculated on why the verdict came back not guilty to a couple of people openly declaring their desire to go revenge murder the cop.

What a bunch of hyper-emotional, unstable, adolescent twats.

I feel like a totally appropriate reaction to disagreeing with a jury's verdict is painting the walls with pig blood. Ya know... am I being detained, and whatnot.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

I saw the video and the major question that I have (and I am not reading all of these pages) is that why did the cop order Shaver to crawl towards him IF they thought that he could've been armed? Wouldn't it not be smart (and even safer) to have another cop come over and frisk Shaver first before deciding if someone who could've had a gun come closer to them?

Looking at it from a tactical point of view, just in general, when I have my weapon trained on you, that is maximum cover, if I take my weapon off you and approach, that's your opening to make a move, and if I, as the cover man, send someone else towards you, they are then in the line of fire. If I bring you to me, then I can cover you, and my fire team partner can cover the hallway, nether of us is in the line of fire, and everything is covered, so if you make a move, or somebody else comes around a corner, both of you get blown away before you can take your shots.

Pretty sure he could have walked his tacticool psychotic ass a couple of steps forward, while keeping his weapon aimed. I mean, they want to be military and all.

The military takes no chances whatsoever, in the military, we'd have you strip down until we could see that you had no weapons and you weren't wearing a suicide vest, then we'd have you come up to the checkpoint, until you were close enough for someone to grab you without them getting into the line of fire.
