It's amazing to me how during the Trump administration, you never heard leftists criticize Israel at all, because they wanted to paint Trump as an anti-semitic Hitler clone. But now that he's gone, they've gone back to the "Free Palestine" talking points.

I'm not a big fan of Israel's foreign policy concerning the US, but I just can't understand why Lefties are falling back into a Pro-Palestine stance. What are the elites trying to achieve by supporting Palestine? Is this some underwater-backgammon level of maneuvering? Are they trying to tempt Iran or Hezbollah into assisting Hamas so they can justify bombing Iran?

I'll also add Hamas is attacking infrastructure, while Israel is flattening apartment complexes. Looks like Hamas is fighting to win.

Oh, I view Israel as an adversarial ally. I respect Israel because they don't fuck around. It's Israel first, all the time, no exceptions, they won't tolerate a politician selling them out. Wish we had more of that national spirit. But that also means they spy on us, use us, and buy off our politicians on both sides of the aisle. So, it's best to keep one eye on them.

All in all, Trump had brought more peace to the ME than anyone in my lifetime. I miss that.

Seriously tho. The swamp figured they could run stuff without a leader, just a figurehead. They clearly cannot. All they have is control of institutions. I don't mean to belittle that, because it's a pretty big fucking deal. But, these people suck. They didn't get there by merit. They got there by skullduggery. We are better than the people in charge.
