India has a policy of keeping its options open in case of sanctions against them, they don't want to be reliant on one vendor, so they deal with the Russians still as well.

India has two enemies, Pakistan and China, but India doesn't actually have any formal alliances with anyone.

In terms of British, the Indians are very British, particularly the Indian Armed Forces which were designed and built by the British, but India hasn't been bothered by the British, since the Viceroy was withdrawn back to Britain.

Because the US backs Pakistan and we are unlikely to want to fight China for a bunch of pajeets anyway.

Honestly, if China, India, and Pakistan set fire to half their populations, we would be better off as a planet. I am not saying I want half the human population incinerated, but we are talking about the half that cause most of the environmental problems. And China sabotaging themselves hardly hurts us.

As the Russians have cancelled their PAK-FA program which was supposed to deliver stealth to the IAF, I would expect India to join the F-35 program instead.

India's principle weakness is corruption, it's a corruption culture, so that makes it very inefficient, they lose a huge amount of capacity to everybody being on the take, whereas China has control of that shit, so China is much more efficient.
