Affirmative action being perceived as advantageous, does not make it so. It holds back the very groups it is supposed to help. Look at how well the groups "benefiting" from affirmative action are doing since it's been implemented, they are falling behind, so much for affirmative action.
Government handouts for the fail. Affirmative action is little different from other government handouts, it creates dependence on government, it doesn't empower those on it. Wise the fuck up. Not having to try as hard to get into certain schools deters them from needing to try as hard as other groups, making them lazy. It holds them back and puts them in situations that are above their head, because they only earned their spot because of identity politics, that's not helping. That doesn't encourage a meritocracy, it undermines it.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Affirmative action is giving a man a fish instead of teaching them how to fish.
That's not the point...the point is to give gibs to certain groups for votes...and to take down obstructions to liberty (White Men). Stop playing their fucking game.

You are the one who wants to play their game, I say don't play their game, because it's losing strategy. You're the dolt who thinks it's a winning strategy, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

But dumbass pothead assures us affirmative action can only help white people and harm nonwhites.. weird.
I said it hurts everybody, just because it hurts white people doesn't mean it helps non-whites, it's not a zero-sum game.
It certainly did not hurt the less qualified minorities who got those promotions, genius.
Yes it does. It disincentives improvement, because they are held to a lower standard, and have less pressure to aim for a higher standard. That isn't good for them to be rewarded for being less qualified, genius.

That isn't harm to the people benefitting. Think before you post.
It is harming the people "benefiting". Government dependence isn't good for them, nor is it good for the people losing the most. No one wins with Affirmative action, one side just loses more slowly.

So the people getting raises and more power to accumulate resources, access, and privilege for their tribe are really the ones harmed.. LMFAO

Delusional.
They could have gotten more raises, more power to accumulate resources, access, and privilege for their tribe without affirmative action.
Learning how to fish will feed them a lot better than the government giving them a fish because they are of a certain race. Derp.
