Doesn't seem as if "Impeaching President Trump" is on anyone's list of national priorities, does it? What amazes me most of all about the Democrats continuing to dig up some impeachable dirt on Trump, is how little aware or interested in, they seem to be in readily and easily accessible statistical data like the above.
I think it's a silly strategy too, but they painted themselves into a corner by not giving Trump an honest chance or a morsel of objectivity. Bob Woodward has seen the light and done a 180 on his position. This is smart. One can say, well, I believed the reports and investigations, but the FBI and CIA were corrupt.

The folks that stay on impeachment are either stupid or feel they can somehow still damage Trump by keeping it up.

Let them impeach, that would just fire up the Trump base just in time for the election.

This is why they won't impeach. The adults in the room know it would backfire.

All this supposed "evidence" is meaningless.

There's only one thing which would get the Senate to remove a President.

Smoking Gun. Nixon ordering a blatant felony, on tape.

The don't got it.

Obstruction of Justice is big whoop, Clinton was found guilty of it, so what?

I would suspect the latter, that they delude themselves into thinking it's in their interest to carry on, that theythink they have public support. If they want to ignore what the American public, or electorate, really cares about, it must be because their idea of that electorate is warped... and I suspect one can blame social media for that, as in those oft-mentioned, self-referencing social media bubbles where people who think mostly the same, stay in their digital safe spaces and only have conversations with like-minded people.

It's like when people get the impression, or have the assumption, that it's "normal" to hold SJW ideals, because 10K people on Twitter like some SJW'y comment. Yet, 10K people is nothing in the context of how many people are online each day, even just online Americans. They're maybe 0.05% of the total US population. But they scream loudly, they harrass, and doxx and shit like that and accuse you of being a racist in all caps. But our monkey brains see the high number of people following one set of values and think that it's "popular". And either decides the set of values a threat, or finds some way to fit in. And finds some way to accomplish either choice the best way.

Democrats look to their Twitter feeds, their FB pages, the emails from their friends, and meet people from their political social circles... but they don't truly connect to and with the (wider) electorate. Instead they'll imagine that the wider public have the same interests as the "online public" they get in touch with... End result: Bublic breathes a collective resigned sigh and Trump gets re-elected. Assuming he wants to, haven't kept up with whether he actually wants another term.
Fame is not flattery. Respect is not agreement.

If the House goes to the Senate with some lame and ginned up obstruction case and no smoking gun, they will get shot down hard. I don't even buy that a Democrat Senate would risk the heat of going for that overreach.

The Democrats tried this with Reagan as well, Iran-Contra; he was guilty; it went nowhere.

You need an absolute smoking gun to remove a President in the Senate, scandalous just ain't gonna get it done.

Iran-Contra was technically treason, Reagan says "I didn't look at what I was signing when I signed it"

The country was like "ah, poor little fella, why are the Democrats picking on this nice old man?"

Yes, the Neo-Left last ideas were laid down with LBJ. They've been out of ideas for 50 years. Milking the same arguments and tactics.
