And basically I don't get why you all are so pumped up about it. So some footballer Kaepernick felt that coloured people are opressed in the US and fellow teammates think it's a great way to say something. Ok, fine. That kneeling was sure smarter than just sitting on a bench.

Trump just uses this to get his base feeling up takes it on that otherwise wouldn't be much noticed. Great way to get focus away from the last health care fiasco. But thanks to him it's the latest vogue now to kneel or somehow to show solidarity.

I don't know how many of the research papers coming out of West Point for the last 15 you've read. I've read several, and there certainly is a globalist SJW slant creeping in. To me, that is reason for concern.

That's because the whole narrative of "The Military is going down the drains because of SJWs" is quite popular. And has been very popular. It was that also in the late 1980's and especially during the Clinton years in the 1990's.

Yet when real war came, the US armed forces didn't look like it had lost it's edge.

Actually the "Che" T-shirt and the guy posing with the Communist manifesto just shows how long that has been since the Soviet Union collapse.

It doesn't mean anything now. Perhaps it's just cool and rebellious. But I bet that the guy wouldn't wear an Osama bin Laden t-shirt, hang the black flag of the Prophet on his wall (now used By Al Qaeda) or have any ISIS regalia. Heck, it wouldn't be his fellow class mates beating him, it would a be a swift removal from the Academy and markings of a terrorist sympathizer for him on the FBI terrorist database.

I say Kaepernick has to thank a lot the guy who advised him to kneel during the singing of the national Anthem rather than just to sit. And the more Trump and the talking heads in the right bitch about it, the more popular will kneeling be. Could easily become the latest fad (if not already).
