I agree with you, my "in their defense" was not me stating my opinion, but pointing to part of the reason why I think they've gotten more biased over the years.
I think PBS does a much better job.

I have not watched PBS in years, but they used to be pretty good. Not much politics, though. Just the McLaughlin Group, which actually was pretty good back in the day.

Around the fifty minute mark of that press conference, he really broke down some facts on foreign policy with Russia and why shit is happening the way it is happening. The media are just fucking dense.
