Sean Spicer kicked ass today. He even deflected from his obvious lie yesterday quite well. He handed the media their asses, the whole time. He stepped his game up something fierce. Trump has the initiative he wants to counterpunch and the media is letting him because they falsely believe they can win such a fight. They got killed today. Jim Acosta especially.Smitty-48 wrote:I disagree, I'm seeing a pattern forming, he needs to break out of this paradigm and regain the initiative, because Sean Spicer said a ton of stuff today, and much of it was quite sensible, but all the media is running, is the part where he got baited into defending his assertions about crowd size at the inaugural, and in that specific part of the press conference, he looked really weak and waffly, and then that's all they ran with, everything else he said, was supressed, they didn't report on anything except the derp. The media won this round easily, they can't keep walking into these punches and not take damage as they go.
What press conference did you watch? Spicer's spin is better than the media's by a mile, they got hosed. Utterly destroyed in every facet, the lies they come up with people are already primed to disbelieve. It was a rout for Team Trump.
