Minimum Wage just went up to $11.50 in Washington State. The price of milk is $2.68 a Gallon.

You can totally touch these days, if you don't go for it right out the gate, then the strippers will encourage it, they be like "You know you're allowed to touch, right?".

I haven't been since I was a teenager as well, but I have never been to a strip club where I wasn't allowed to touch the stripper during a lap dance, just saying.
Never heard of this.

Haven't been to a strip club since I've been married, and never been to one in Canada, but they can touch you, never heard of you can touch them.

Course in Washington state, even the strippers themselves aren't allowed to take their bottoms off, so there's that.

I'm paying a $100K.."

He can't find any Canadians who are willing to cut beef, it's all Fillipinos, but he's even hard pressed to find Canadians who want to be managers, in buttfuck middle of nowhere Alberta.
I offered a guy double his current pay to move two hours away. He turned me down.

Between stuff like that and my time as a recruiter I give very little fucks when people say they can't find work. I used to, but not anymore.

What they mean is they can't find the exact job they want in the exact place they want to live.

Canada is also way overtaxed, so a $100K sounds like a lot, until you add it to household income and our functional tax rate exceeds 50%, by the end of it all, with all the different deductions, it's more like $45K, which ain't worth moving to the buttfuck middle of nowhere, and then paying to fly back and forth.

Frankly, it's better to work under an incorporated business tax and capital gains regime, income tax in Canada makes additional employment a diminishing return, once you're at a certain income level, unless you're talking a very big raise indeed.

I can net $45K more, without going to Alberta, without even leaving my house in fact.

Blew my mind how taxes work there. We had a wizard of a guy out of Montreal when I worked for the Canucks and he was making shit compared to his actual income which was around 200k CAD.

Exactly, once your household income reaches a certain threshold, taking another job working for the man is a suckers bet, when you hit the top tax bracket, the only way to go is incorporation and capital gains from there.

Then if you were a recruiter, you also know the reason why people say they can't find work, right?

The military is really not a bad life. The recruiter will be at the mall later. You probably won't cut it in the Air Force or Navy, so go Army.

I don't understand the question.
