Hodgkinson was just a modern Mainstream Democrat, he was no more radical, unhinged or mentally unstable than your average Democrat. It's the base average of the party right now.
That's the problem... he is the common Democrat, but they are going to play it off like he was on the fringes... (Although that is a lie)
Yep, I came to that conclusion this morning after I surveyed the MSM last night and late night talk TV. I saw Kimmel and that other guy, and both opened with bashing Trump. The news showed Pelosi calling for unity and went right back to propaganda. No difference in this guy from the rest. He just did what his leaders have been telling him to do.

Sources tell ABC News that the primary weapon used in shooting was a SKS 7.62 assault style rifle. Authorities also recovered a Smith and Wesson 9 mm pistol, though it was not clear if it was used in the attempted massacre.

After Hodgkinson's shooting spree began on Wednesday morning at a Congressional GOP baseball practice, he was shot by Capitol Police on the scene and subsequently died of his injuries.

The suspect, who also owned a shotgun, is believed to have obtained a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the last two months or so.

This guy obtained permits for guns in both Illinois and Washington DC. So, those Democrat local governments saw him as no radical at all, and saw no reason not to authorize gun use. He was just another normal guy to them.

So.... anyone that criticizes the president is liable to go on a shooting spree of Congressmen?

What was that, 2 pages before we got to Thought Crime?

So, when you have people like Hillary Clinton say stand up and fight, when you have people like Giffords holding a severed head that is meant to be Trumps, and you have news and media saying they want to shoot or kill part of the presidential family, and those who support him... you don't think that someone isn't going to think it's OK to do what they did?

Yeah, those violent videogames and movies are causing all this violence. We should arrest those inciting 'hate speech'.

What the hell, are you seriously going totalitarian on this? Didn't you clowns just finish bashing the hell out of Monte for Euro-hate speech laws??

Did I say anything about video games and movies? And we should arrest those who entice violence if it can be proven that violence was done because of them... Just like Al Sharpton should have been arrested after enticing violence a long time ago against jews in Crown Heights...? Forgot about that did you?

Wrong then, and wrong now.

I brought up the videogames and movies, to point out how ridiculous this is. You're asserting a "voodoo magic" quality to media, in "making" someone violent, while somehow completely ignoring the opposite stance taken by nearly every board member, when the subject was alt-right, protests, or anything-else-we-approve-of.

The democrats have embraced violent rhetoric against Trump and his voters. The examples are plentiful.
Plus they have organized violence and destruction, Berkeley, Washington DC and Seattle. Then on this site we see people defending that violence, we see people all over the left embracing the hate and violence.

You tried to shift the focus off of the Democrats/Left and their support of political violence to overturn a free an fair election.

The mainstream media and Democrats are not inciting violence just because they say mean things about Trump that some folks take way too seriously. That's grasping for straws when there is plenty of good material to use against them without having to resort such foolishness.
