I offer no quarter. The time came for me to choose a side and I have chosen that which is opposite of the Elite whom use the CIA and MSM as their errand boys.

Fuck your Neocons.

Was easy to see coming. I never bought that Trump was going to throw the neocons to the wind. He was always likely to cave to them on foreign policy and Russia in particular, if you thought otherwise then you put far too much faith in Trump. You should have braced yourself for this, it was inevitable.

Don't be silly, obviously you would have Jones replace Spicer, if you're going to bring Alex Jones in, go all the way.
I'm not sure that would be very different from now... :?
Tru, but Spicer's not going to last at the rate he is soaking up radiation, need to have someone lined up in the bullpen here.

It would be so much more entertaining. The rants would be epic, the language beyond colorful. Will he give a press conference shirtless for no apparent reason?

Count me in.

Scowcroft isn't a neocon, never has been.

From the Dubya years:
In an interview with The New Yorker magazine, Scowcroft, whose relations with the Bush administration have been badly strained since he publicly warned against invading Iraq seven months before U.S. troops crossed over from Kuwait, argued that the invasion was counterproductive.

"This was said to be part of the war on terror, but Iraq feeds terrorism," Scowcroft told the magazine, adding that the war risked moving public opinion against any new foreign policy commitments for some time, just as the Vietnam War did during the late 1970s and through the 1980s.

"Vietnam was visceral in the American people," said Scowcroft, who also served as national security adviser in the mid-1970s under former President Gerald Ford. "This was a really bitter period, and it turned us against foreign policy adventures deeply. This is not that deep, [but] … we're moving in that direction."

Don't put Brent in with the ex-leftist neocon cabal. Now a lot of them worked for Scowcroft, sang his tunes, but with Dubya, followed the neocon idiots. Scowcroft was Scowcroft, not a neocon.

The labor candidate, Puzder, has withdrawn too.

Likely first goes Conway. She looks like zombie, not getting enough sleep I guess. As more media outlets will simply stop having her on she's the likely one to bow out. Not useful to Trump is she is out there spreading another thing than Spicer. Trump doesn't care, and nobody will notice.

Don't pretend that the Neocons are just Cheney and Rumsfeld, America is like 80% Neocons, most Americans are Neocons, Americans pointing at other people and saying "ZOMG Neocons!" is laughable, the Neocons are just Americans, as most Americans are, Scowcroft has worked for the Neocons the whole time, Scowcroft ain't no Isolationist Non-Interventionist Anti-Imperialist Peacenik, so let's get real.

Neocons were a small cabal that simply got their message to the masses. That's the thing. Once when Obama continued with the "War-on-Terror" and all it's institutions as given, then the neocon thing came to be the new normal. Cheney and Rumsfeld were old time political hacks that just let the neocons roam, they weren't ideological followers of Leo Strauss.

But at start it was a small cabal of people that actually never thought that they would be in the position that they were given. Surely not a grass roots movement.

And if Scowcroft worked in the Dubya administration, they used Scowcroft just like Kissinger, and old guy to ask questions, but Scowcroft never went along with the neocon idea. Far too realpolitik guy to go with that kind of idealism.
